My Painting Course at Higham Hall

Higham Hall is in the north of the Lake District near Cockermouth. It holds course all year round - some short, some long.

In February 2011 I attended a lovely course on acrylic painting. It was spoilt by the fact that I was suffering from a bad cold which took a long time to clear up. Fortunately, nobody caught it from me. While there I took some photo's from my window and around the grounds. On the one sunny day while I was there I went to Maryport. It was my first visit there and I really enjoyed it. I took quite a lot more pictures there and I am rather pleased how well they have turned out.
