In June 2011 I went with my daughter to Somerset and we had a lovely time.
In February 2011 I attended a painting course at Higham Hall.
In September 2010 I attended a Summer Studies course at University of Durham on The Grand Tour.
In July 2010 I went with my daughter to Somerset and we had a lovely time.
In August 2009 I attended a "Summer Academy" course at University of East Anglia.
In June 2009 I went again to visit old friends in Somerset and as usual had a very nice time.
In September 2008 I attended a Summer Studies course at University of Durham on The Religious Landscape.
In August 2008 I attended a Summer Studies course at University of York on The Green Man.
In June 2008 I went again to visit old friends in Somerset and had a very nice time.
In August 2007 I attended "Summer Academy" courses at University of East Anglia and Durham.
In April 2007 I went with my daughter to North Yorkshire where we had a very enjoyable four days.
In June 2007 I went to visit old friends in Somerset and had a very pleasant time.
Occasionally I took a few days away in Paris or Helmsley (to be updated very soon) or York (updated Oct 2006) or Ripon (updated Sept 2005). Pictures from these trips will be added, when time permits, to the Abbeys, Country, Towns, and Castles pages.
Usually I spend one week on a Residential Adult Summer School (Summer Academy style) course. Updated September 28th 2008.
Sometimes the best recreation is just to do something completely different!
And sometimes you just have to rest. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
