As we passed South Shields the weather clearly hadn't detered the day trippers - it was August Bank holiday after all.
This was far from my first visit to Bede's World and the Gyrwe Anglo-Saxon demonstration farm; see 2006, 2005, 2003. First a couple of shots of Bede.
Then out into the farm for some shots of the animals this year.
The ducks seemed happy.
