Due to the poor weather conditions last year I abandoned visiting anywhere on my way to Durham. I was concerned that with the course being in September and mainly consisting of trips out we might get very wet. Also Trevelyan college was closed so we were using St. Mary's College instead.

Here is my first view of St. Mary's as I parked my car.

My room was in the accomdation block down the steps ...

.. to my wing.

As you descend the steps you can see Durham Cathedral in the distance.

This is the rear of my blcok and the drive that leads down to the road; the quickest way into the city.
