Ickworth House (NT) is in north-east Suffolk. Its dominant feature is the huge Rotunda.

The weather was becoming very cloudy.

But everywhere you went the view was dominated by the Rotunda. In front of the Rotunda are the gardens.

To each side of the Rotunda lie the wings of the house ...

... with an occasional tree of interest.

With the weather closing in here is the view of the north side of the house.

All in all a disppointing visit.
After the tour of the house we visited the Loggia Tea Room before leaving for our next country house.
