En Route to York on a rather damp day I called at Benningborough Hall just outside York.

The Priory and the Castle from outside the Church porch.

After a walk around the gardens ....

... and their unusaual sculptures, I visited the house.

Celtic Cross at the Easy end of the Church.

Then it was time for some refreshments..

A last look in the gardens and onward to York University.
